The goal of the Magic Bus’ Education programme is to enable the first generation adolescent learners from underprivileged households to complete their formal education with a high level of life skills. This will ensure that these young people have a high probability of completing graduation or vocational skilling and thereon moving into sustainable employment, thus moving themselves and their family out of poverty.
Magic Bus provides
1. Adolescents complete secondary school
a. Improved perceived self-efficacy.
b. Improved resilience.
c. Improved aspirations (education, livelihood)
2. Adolescents progress to higher grades
3. Adolescents demonstrate improved language and numerical skills
4. Adolescents have improved awareness of career options and pathways
5. School management committees are activated, convene regular meetings and take actions to enable improved education
